Accepted Payment Methods
At Homessen, we accept the following payment options:
- Credit, debit, and prepaid cards from major networks, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
- PayPal — a widely used and secure online payment platform.
- Shopify Payments.
When you select PayPal at checkout, you will be redirected to the PayPal login page to complete your payment securely.
If your local currency is not supported, PayPal may automatically convert your payment into U.S. dollars (USD) at the prevailing exchange rate.
We may operate through payment gateways located in different regions, including the United States, Canada, and Singapore. Depending on your issuing bank, you may be charged a small international transaction fee if your payment is processed through a gateway outside your country.
Payment Troubleshooting
If your payment does not go through, please try the following steps.
For Credit or Debit Card Payments
Please check that:
- All card details, including card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address, are entered correctly.
- You have sufficient available funds.
- Your card is authorized for online or international transactions.
- Your billing information matches the information registered with your bank.
You may also try to:
- Refresh the page or log out and log back in.
- Place a new order instead of retrying the same failed transaction.
- Contact your bank, as some banks may automatically block online or international payments unless pre-approved.
- Pay through PayPal using your card as a guest checkout, if available.
- Use a different card or payment method.
For PayPal Payments
Please check that:
- Your PayPal account has no transaction limit, restriction, or hold.
- Your billing and shipping information are accurate.
- Your PayPal account has a valid funding source.
If PayPal still fails, you may try using a debit or credit card directly at checkout.
Tax Policy
United States
Currently, we do not collect sales tax for orders shipped to U.S. addresses.
The total amount shown at checkout is the final order amount, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
International Customers
Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import taxes, duties, customs fees, VAT, GST, or other local charges as determined by your country’s customs authority.
These fees are not included in your order total and may be collected by your courier, postal service, or local customs office upon delivery.
Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, customs fees, or import charges required by their country.
European Union Customers
Orders shipped to European Union countries may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and VAT, also known as Value-Added Tax.

Important Notes
Homessen is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, local postal services, import processing, or payment of taxes and duties.
Refusing to pay customs fees or taxes may result in the package being returned, delayed, or abandoned. In such cases, shipping fees and related charges are non-refundable.
